If June had a theme song, it would probably be “Pomp and Circumstance.” School years are coming to an end and it’s time for the class of 2013 to celebrate their achievements and enjoy their graduation days.
The most exciting part about graduation is that it signifies the “next step” in life as many graduates head off to college. The majority of students favor in-state universities such as the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth University, and George Mason University.
Another very popular school is Northern Virginia Community College. For students who aren’t quite sure where they want to go or who want to save some money, NOVA offers the ability to get an Associate’s Degree which will allow students to transfer to any Virginia school with guaranteed admission.
So whether they’re off to school or ready to join the workforce, when you see someone celebrating their gradation day be sure to congratulate them!
Leave us a comment if you are a graduate or have a child who’s graduating. We want to congratulate you, too!
