They’re everywhere! They’re everywhere! Washington D. C. is coming up cherry blossoms — on trees, costumes, balloons and parade floats. The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC is today until noon starting along Constitution Avenue from 7th to 17th streets, NW.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival continues with events until April 13. Spectacular colors and celebrities are the highlight of the parade. The big stars of the day are the 3,750 Yoshino cherry trees clustered throughout D . C. This most common cultivar can be found encircling the Tidal Basin.
