Let’s get wild about Earth Day! Kathryn Coates, an Old Dominion University Biology student, is studying abroad in Kenya and Tanzania, East Africa with the School for Field Studies. Not only is she tackling full-time course work in wildlife management, ecology, environmental policy, socioeconomic values,  East African tribal communities and Swahili, she and her team are capturing images of the breathtaking landscape of an unspoiled region of the earth.

Kathryn is researching her final assignment on wildlife ecology today — Earth Day — as we recycle, go green, plant a tree, or pick up trash in our communities. Remember to respect our earth today and always.

How are you celebrating Mother Nature today?
