A Look Back on Martin Luther King’s Historic Speech

By: Jillian Ellis, Team SFMC — Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr., a leader in the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement. King led a nonviolent movement for racial equality in the United States. This day we honor Dr. King by pausing and reflecting on his life, legacy and achievements.

Here’s a clip from the iconic “I Have a Dream” speech that King gave on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963.
