Expanding into hops

The opening of a brewery smack in the middle of a landscaping company makes a lot of sense ┬áIt’s beautiful, has plenty of parking with friendly staff and owners and has cold, great tasting beer.

Bill and Michelle DeWitt, Community Landscape Services, invited Team SFMC to a special tasting of their craft beers at The Farm Brewery at Broad Run.

A spacious setting for large gatherings, it still has an intimate feeling with pockets of relaxing spots scattered throughout the property.

A food truck with tasty fare was parked serving finger food and sandwiches perfect for the event.

Hops fields were ready as the next batch of brew was planned. It is a top notch facility in a gorgeous place — enjoy!

A snow day becomes a Caps victory day

By: Theresa Coates Ellis, Team SFMC — Community Landscape Services hosted a Washington Capitol Ice Hockey v/s Minnesota Wild game at the Verizon Center in DC. Team SFMC and Stanley Martin joined the get-together to cheer the Caps on to a 4-2 victory.

The hockey players played tough for their fans who were decked out in red and white shirts with an occasional green one for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day festivities!

Thanks to the Bill and Michelle DeWitt for sharing the evening. They have been busy with landscaping, snow plowing and their new passion: The Farm Brewery at Broad Run set to open in April!
